BEDRIACUM (ITALY) 2009

In 2009, under the auspices of the University of Milan and guided by the late Prof. Maria Teresa Grassi, I had the unique opportunity to participate in archaeological fieldwork in Calvatone (Bedriacum). This endeavour focused on excavating the Roman city of Bedriacum, an initiative that not only deepened my understanding of Roman urbanism but also enhanced my practical skills in archaeological excavation. Our efforts unearthed significant artifacts and structural remains, contributing valuable insights into the daily lives and urban layout of ancient Bedriacum.
