In 2008, I was privileged to engage in archaeological fieldwork in the Archaeological Park of Baratti and Populonia, Italy, as part of a team from the University of Milan (Università Statale di Milano).
This project, focused on the excavation of the proto-Villanovan and Villanovan necropolis, was conducted under the brilliant supervision of Prof. Giorgio Baratti. Aimed at uncovering insights into prehistoric burial practices and societal structures, the fieldwork provided a profound exploration of ancient civilisations.
